Kimberly Lauth, CFRE

Kimberly began her love affair with fundraising at the age of 5 by going door to door for the March of Dimes. After a youth filled with backyard carnivals for Ronald McDonald house, trick or treating for UNICEF and countless boxes of Girl Scout cookies she continued her passionate efforts to make a difference by becoming a nonprofit professional.

An accomplished fundraiser, nonprofit executive and consultant Kimberly has worked with a wide variety of healthcare, public service and arts organizations. She is currently consulting with several nonprofit organizations via her company, Nonprofit Outfitters – Community Benefit Consulting.

Kimberly holds the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) designation from CFRE international. She is a founding member of the Smoky Mountain Planned Giving Council and has served various leadership roles in the organization including President.

She is the President of the Great Smoky Mountain Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on a national level as a member of the Government Relations Committee for the Association.

Kimberly is a sought after speaker and trainer. She has been published in the Journal of Healthcare Philanthropy. Her first book, Change Your View, Change the World - Shifting to a More Effective Fundraising Paradigm, will be published summer 2009.

Ms. Lauth shepherded our organization through a challenging time of transition and facilitated our goal to honor our fallen veterans by constructing the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial.

The Friends of Camp Montvale were well served in using Nonprofit Outfitters for our feasibility study. There were many complex issues related to our needs.  The one-on-one time and dedication of Kimberly Lauth ensured the study was completed in a timely fashion.  The interview process with community members and possible partners was professional and well received by those being interviewed.  Her recommendations and insights into the results from the study have given us critical information as we move toward our capital campaign.

I first got to know Kimberly Lauth when she served as the Executive Director of the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial Association. She played a key role in the Association's successful completion of the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial in World's Fair Park. Her unwavering passion for our cause, her tireless efforts and her creativity gave our organization the needed boost to put us over the top. I strongly endorse Kimberly Lauth to any non-profit organization looking for a top caliber executive.
